For this 116th season, the famous Salon d’Automne invites you to discover Art of today and tomorrow, from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 October 2019.

A cultural programme, including concerts, conferences, roundtable discussions, readings, performances and a fashion show, enriches the exhibition over these four days.

Two great artists have agreed to join this 116th season, patron Frédéric LENOIR, guest of honour Michel Kirch. The Salon d’Automne 2019’ ambition is to be the meeting place : meeting between arts, artists and art world’s professionals, but especially to be the meeting between arts and its audience.

Information for applicant artists

2019 registration are closed since April 30.
Thank you to all artists who participated.
Application files had been thoroughly reviewed, nearly 900 artists had been selected.
You received the results by email at the beginning of July, followed by an official post later the same month.

2020 Edition

If you’re willing to take part in the Salon d’Automne 2020, please visit your website since february 2020. You can also contact us by mail : info@salon-automne.com.

Information for exhibiting artists

A mail explaining the proceedings of next steps will be sent containing :
– Summary of your informations with the printed documents regarding your work.
– Schedule of handing-in October the 8 and of withdrawal October the 13.
Please observe the following points and those on your handing-in that you will receive by post.

Directions, car local parking
Please note that, the day of handing-in, the stoppage of vehicles is possible only if the driver stays for an immediate moving (make sure you have two persons per vehicle). Parking on parks and gardens along the exhibition pavilions and halls are strictly forbidden, even for just a few minutes.

These measures have been imposed by the city of Paris as part of the Vigipirate plan. Thank you for your understanding.

Some important reminders

Only the work (or works) presented to the 2019 board, accepted and printed in the catalogue, may being hanged at the exhibition. Any other work will be refused. It is recalled that, in the exhibition space, it will not be accepted the presence of visit cards or personal catalogues with the works.

No presence is allowed during the hanging without a prior agreement with the structure.

PAINTING
Oil, acrylic… in beadings or nail cover; Frames are banned.

DRAWING, WATER PAINTING | ENGRAVING | PHOTOGRAPHY
Frames must be as simple as possible. Glass is forbidden and must be replaced by Plexiglas.

SCULPTURE
The work will always be accompanied by a white base adapted to the sculpture, as indicated in Regulations. The bases of the works whose weight over 50 kg will have a plate to fit the floor which has. The handling of heavy parts will be made by the artist, who will provide the appropriate means, taking into account the height of the exhibition hall (2m50). The artist must ensure the stability of their sculpture. Device (aesthetic) to avoid any theft will be set up by the artist. If these conditions are not met, the work may not be exposed.

The association of the Salon d’Automne and its service providers are not responsible for the works deposited and exhibited, and decline all responsibility for thefts, fires, deterioration… It is strongly advised artists to take a personal insurance from the day of deposit until withdrawal. The artist and his insurer waive all recourse to the Association of the Salon d’Automne and its service providers.

The transport and the handling of the works are the sole responsibility of the artists or their carrier. These will have to be unpacked, repackaged and handled by him or his carrier. No packaging can be stored on site.The Société Nouvelle Morard, specialist in the transport of art objects, can handle the delivery of your work: SNM PROTECT LA FACTORY MORARD, 74, avenue Lénine 94250 – Gentilly.

After the withdrawal schedules at the end of the show, which will be communicated to you later, works not picked up by the artists or their representatives will be handed over to Société Nouvelle Morard, who will invoice the artist for the cost of custody and transport of his Until it is deposited. The Association declines all responsibility in the event of non-compliance with these general conditions.

The Salon d’Automne is an artists’ association, presented in sections, rigorously selected and organized according to a plan defined by its committee. Over the entire Salon, each sections’ president will be on-site to find informations and to show you his space dedicated to artists. The catalogue presents all works and artists’ contact details.
