From August 7 to 17, artists from the Salon d'Automne will exhibit at the 26th edition of “Art Actuel France-Japon” at the prestigious National Art Center in Tokyo. This international exhibition is the result of a long collaboration between the Salon d'Automne, the JIAS, and the CAEA, which has fostered a partnership since the 1970s in which Japanese and French artists enrich each other through a fruitful cultural and artistic dialogue.
This 26th edition brings together 540 works by Japanese, French, and international artists, representing a wide range of styles and sensibilities and demonstrating the vitality of this intercultural dialogue.
Continuing this artistic exchange, the Salon d'Automne 2025 will present the works of 96 Japanese artists from the CAEA in a special section.
We are honored to participate in this international exhibition once again this year. We warmly thank our Japanese partners at the CAEA and JIAS, and especially their president Bumpei Magori, for this wonderful artistic collaboration!
From August 7 to 17, 2025
Opening ceremony on Thursday, August 7, at 3 p.m.
